Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.62%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.62%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 8.50% or 18.6 points to trade at 237.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 4.96% or 10.0 points to end at 211.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 3.81% or 47.0 points to 1281.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were DSV (CSE:DSV), which fell 2.62% or 26.7 points to trade at 993.8 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 2.13% or 13.8 points to end at 635.4 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was down 2.05% or 2.40 points to 114.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 58 and 23 ended unchanged.

Shares in William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) rose to 52-week highs; up 8.50% or 18.6 to 237.3. Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) rose to all time highs; up 3.81% or 47.0 to 1281.0.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.70% or 0.32 to $45.21 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.91% or 0.44 to hit $47.81 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.74% or 13.15 to trade at $1774.95 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.23% to 6.2059, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4416.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 91.595.
