Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.32%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.32% to hit a new 3-months high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Maytronics (TASE:MTRN), which rose 6.73% or 309 points to trade at 4900 at the close. Meanwhile, Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) added 6.13% or 243 points to end at 4210 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was up 5.16% or 71 points to 1446 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which fell 3.46% or 48 points to trade at 1341 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) declined 1.39% or 540 points to end at 38420 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was down 1.34% or 1070 points to 78530.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 294 to 120 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.13% or 0.48 to $42.90 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.71% or 0.77 to hit $45.84 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.29% or 42.95 to trade at $1829.45 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.31% to 3.3502, while EUR/ILS rose 0.07% to 3.9609.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 92.645.
