President Donald Trump on Tuesday fired Chris Krebs, the head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, after Krebs rejected Trump’s unfounded claims of election fraud.
Trump announced the move in a pair of tweets, in which he repeated baseless claims of “massive” election improprieties and fraud. Within minutes, Twitter Inc. TWTR, +0.28% had flagged the tweets as “disputed.”
