More than 130 Secret Services officers have either tested positive for COVID-19 or are quarantining after coming into close contact with infected colleagues , according to a report in the Washington Post Friday.
The illnesses are “believed to be partly linked” to President Donald Trump’s marathon series of rallies that were held in swing states across the nation in the final weeks of the presidential campaign.
Several of Trump’s close associates, including White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and political advisers Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie, have also fallen ill, according to reports.
