Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 2.82%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 2.82%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 6.12% or 133.0 points to trade at 2307.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 5.41% or 22.6 points to end at 439.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 3.84% or 25.0 points to 676.4 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 4.04% or 3.7 points to trade at 87.9 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 3.01% or 33.5 points to end at 1080.5 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 1.07% or 0.96 points to 90.96.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 40 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.10% or 0.79 to $38.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.19% or 0.87 to hit $40.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1910.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.03% to 6.3537, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4450.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 93.405.
