“I applaud the president for unifying the country. It just happens to be against him.”

That’s former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, criticizing his former boss Tuesday on MSNBC.

Scaramucci, who in 2017 was famously fired by President Donald Trump after just 10 days, has since become an outspoken critic of the president.

In an interview Tuesday on MSNBC, Scaramucci, an investment banker, was asked about what he’s heard on Wall Street about Trump’s chances in next Tuesday’s election.

“The president’s calling for a return to normal life — that’s exactly what we want,” he said. “We’re seeking your removal so we can end this disastrous situation that you’ve created for America.”

“If you follow the money on Wall Street, he’s going to lose decidedly on Tuesday,” Scaramucci added.

In September, CNN reported the securities and investment industry has donated nearly five times as much to Joe Biden’s campaign than to Trump’s.
