Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.69%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.69%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 8.70% or 570 points to trade at 7120 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) added 3.07% or 590 points to end at 19790 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was up 1.78% or 1350 points to 77350 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 4.65% or 117 points to trade at 2398 at the close. Matrix (TASE:MTRX) declined 2.99% or 243 points to end at 7871 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 2.52% or 32 points to 1239.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 228 to 161 and 30 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.62% or 1.01 to $39.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.08% or 0.85 to hit $41.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 4.75 to trade at $1910.45 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.32% to 3.3806, while EUR/ILS fell 0.08% to 4.0004.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 92.795.
