It would be easy to put together a list of the cheapest cars of 2020 just based on the base MSRP. However, what about the cost of the car after you drive it off the dealer lot? We’ve put together a list of the cheapest new cars you can buy based on the total 5-year cost of ownership for the base model according to our friends at Kelley Blue Book. This ownership cost estimation goes beyond just the sticker price of the car and factors in things like depreciation, maintenance costs, and fuel economy.
Here are the 10 cheapest cars of 2020, with scores from Autotrader.
1. 2020 Hyundai Accent – 4.3 / 5
Starting price: $15,295
