CME Group made the announcement in a memorandum to the trading-floor community dated Sept. 28. The individual reported symptoms on the morning of Sept. 28, according to the memorandum, which was forwarded by a CME spokesman.
The eurodollar options pit reopened on Aug. 10 after a nearly five-month closure.
