Workhorse Group Inc (NASDAQ:WKHS) licenses its intellectual property related to the truck to Lordstown, and Workhorse also holds a 10% stake in the electric vehicle maker.
“Now pool reporters have been brought out to the South Lawn, where they send this report: ‘The president was already on the South Lawn when we arrived. He is looking at a Lordstown Motors 2021 endurance truck.'” CNBC’s Eamon Javers said on Twitter.
Shares are up more than 800% this year as all things electric steal the spotlight.
