On the D-List no more, the comedian Kathy Griffin is selling her swanky Bel Air estate in Los Angeles for $15,995,000. Josh Altman and Matt Altman of Douglas Elliman hold the listing.

The Emmy Award winner purchased the home for $10.5 million in 2016—and she reportedly owns it without a mortgage. As Forbes put it, jokes about being stuck on the D-list aside, the A-list comedian is actually “amazing with money.”

Her move may be prompted by her recent marriage in January to her longtime boyfriend, Randy Bick.

And now, the funny lady may laugh her way to a hefty profit on her investment.

Built in 2003 and located behind the guarded gates of the celebrity enclave Bel Air Crest, the Mediterranean-style home comes with new custom gates that open to a long, private driveway.

Spread out over 13,377 square feet, the floor plan includes eight bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms, plus two half-bathrooms. A chef’s kitchen with stainless-steel appliances and two islands looks out onto the great room, which has wood beam ceilings and pocket doors that frame the views.

The master suite offers mountain views through glass doors that open to a private balcony, and has a fireplace, dual baths, and two closets. The additional eight bedrooms also come with en suite bathrooms.

Other amenities include an office, theater, bonus rooms, a bar, wine cellar, elevator, and garage. Set on 0.62 acres, the backyard features a pavilion, lounge space, and infinity-edge pool.

Griffin formerly owned a home in the Hollywood Hills, which she picked up in 2004 for $2.85 million. She listed the place in October 2016 for $5.5 million, a few months after she purchased her Bel Air mansion.

When that asking price didn’t go over with buyers, she dropped the listing to $5 million, and then cut it again in 2017 to $4.7 million. The home eventually sold for $4.4 million.

Griffin won Emmy Awards for her reality show, “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List,” and has performed comedy tours worldwide. She and the journalist Anderson Cooper co-hosted the CNN New Year’s Eve special for 10 years.
