Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.80%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.80% to hit a new 6-months high.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300), which rose 10.00% or 4.70 points to trade at 51.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Chemical Company (SE:2230) added 10.00% or 2.80 points to end at 30.80 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 9.98% or 2.70 points to 29.75 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which fell 6.00% or 3.30 points to trade at 51.70 at the close. Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) declined 5.72% or 2.60 points to end at 42.85 and Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) was down 4.19% or 4.10 points to 93.80.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 107 to 86 and 8 ended unchanged.

Shares in Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 10.00% or 4.70 to 51.70. Shares in Saudi Chemical Company (SE:2230) rose to 3-years highs; rising 10.00% or 2.80 to 30.80. Shares in Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.98% or 2.70 to 29.75.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.62% or 0.23 to $37.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.43% or 0.17 to hit $39.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 3.90 to trade at $1959.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 4.4429, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7510.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 93.112.
