Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.61%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.61%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR), which rose 4.11% or 5910 points to trade at 149830 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) added 3.63% or 84 points to end at 2398 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was up 2.92% or 35 points to 1232 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 6.24% or 1130 points to trade at 16990 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) declined 3.44% or 37 points to end at 1039 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was down 2.98% or 70 points to 2280.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 252 to 136 and 24 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.21% or 0.08 to $37.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.65% or 0.26 to hit $39.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.82% or 16.05 to trade at $1948.25 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 1.19% to 3.4622, while EUR/ILS rose 1.48% to 4.1017.

The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 93.338.
