Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 1.45%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.45% to hit a new 6-months high.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220), which rose 9.92% or 0.88 points to trade at 9.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) added 9.89% or 2.75 points to end at 30.55 and Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) was up 7.43% or 0.78 points to 11.28 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060), which fell 2.50% or 0.52 points to trade at 20.24 at the close. Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) declined 2.17% or 0.34 points to end at 15.36 and Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:4191) was down 2.04% or 0.55 points to 26.35.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 133 to 55 and 14 ended unchanged.

Shares in Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) rose to 52-week highs; rising 7.43% or 0.78 to 11.28.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.03% or 0.44 to $42.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.64% or 0.29 to hit $45.29 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.38% or 27.35 to trade at $1951.55 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.69% to 4.4359, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.54% at 92.840.
