Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.51%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.51%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 2.07% or 21.5 points to trade at 1058.5 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 1.83% or 8.1 points to end at 451.9 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.54% or 6.9 points to 455.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 1.77% or 1.7 points to trade at 96.5 at the close. Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) declined 1.36% or 9 points to end at 654 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 1.08% or 2.1 points to 191.5.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 61 and 21 ended unchanged.

Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) rose to all time highs; up 1.83% or 8.1 to 451.9. Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.54% or 6.9 to 455.6.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.19% or 0.08 to $43.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $45.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 6.90 to trade at $1981.80 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.33% to 6.2294, while EUR/DKK rose 0.06% to 7.4423.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 92.082.
