Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.42%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.42%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 0.79% or 5.6 points to trade at 714.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) added 0.63% or 5.0 points to end at 798.0 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 0.57% or 1.1 points to 195.5 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.50% or 4.8 points to trade at 187.2 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 1.89% or 18.2 points to end at 943.6 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 1.87% or 180 points to 9446.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 61 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.99% or 0.43 to $42.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.13% or 0.52 to hit $45.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.03% or 20.15 to trade at $1932.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.05% to 6.2949, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4424.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 92.983.
