Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.13%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.13%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030), which rose 9.92% or 5.10 points to trade at 56.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) added 9.88% or 2.90 points to end at 32.25 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) was up 6.21% or 0.64 points to 10.94 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050), which fell 4.46% or 1.50 points to trade at 32.15 at the close. United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) declined 3.57% or 0.38 points to end at 10.26 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE:4230) was down 3.16% or 0.50 points to 15.34.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 95 to 90 and 16 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.92% or 5.10 to 56.50. Shares in Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 6.21% or 0.64 to 10.94.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.48% or 1.07 to $42.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.27% or 1.03 to hit $44.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.60% or 31.50 to trade at $1938.80 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.01% to 4.4383, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7505.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 93.017.
