The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were Compagnie Generale des Etablissements Michelin SCA (PA:MICP), which fell 0.25% or 0.24 points to trade at 96.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Renault SA (PA:RENA) fell 0.57% or 0.14 points to end at 24.44 and AXA SA (PA:AXAF) was down 0.67% or 0.12 points to 17.55 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:URW), which fell 6.64% or 3.05 points to trade at 42.91 at the close. Accor SA (PA:ACCP) declined 3.93% or 0.99 points to end at 24.21 and Worldline SA (PA:WLN) was down 2.54% or 1.88 points to 72.24.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Metropole Television SA (PA:MMTP) which rose 2.67% to 10.76, Lagardere SCA (PA:LAGA) which was up 1.03% to settle at 15.69 and TechnipFMC PLC (PA:FTI) which gained 0.50% to close at 7.23.
The worst performers were WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:URW) which was down 6.64% to 42.91 in late trade, Air France KLM SA (PA:AIRF) which lost 5.78% to settle at 3.82 and Accor SA (PA:ACCP) which was down 3.93% to 24.21 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 394 to 171 and 82 ended unchanged.
The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was up 3.19% to 23.64.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 1.49% or 29.30 to $1941.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.73% or 0.31 to hit $41.93 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 0.53% or 0.24 to trade at $44.72 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.28% to 1.1845, while EUR/GBP rose 0.01% to 0.9042.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 93.028.
