Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.08%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.08%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM), which rose 5.75% or 42.5 points to trade at 781.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 5.42% or 123.0 points to end at 2391.0 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 2.56% or 5.5 points to 220.2 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 5.79% or 54.4 points to trade at 885.6 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) declined 5.53% or 13.4 points to end at 228.8 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 2.14% or 4.5 points to 205.8.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 65 and 14 ended unchanged.

Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) rose to all time highs; up 5.42% or 123.0 to 2391.0.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.91% or 0.39 to $42.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.90% or 0.41 to hit $45.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 10.05 to trade at $1959.05 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 6.3009, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4479.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 93.177.
