Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.00%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.00% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1), which rose 5.07% or 81 points to trade at 1680 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE:HARL) added 5.04% or 115 points to end at 2395 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was up 4.32% or 900 points to 21750 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp), which fell 5.43% or 21 points to trade at 364 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) declined 3.31% or 232 points to end at 6770 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was down 2.65% or 360 points to 13240.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 260 to 141 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.80% or 0.75 to $42.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.48% or 0.66 to hit $45.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 3.10 to trade at $1949.40 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.12% to 3.4080, while EUR/ILS rose 0.32% to 4.0180.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 93.375.
