Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.76%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.76%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 2.59% or 5.3 points to trade at 210.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 2.42% or 10.1 points to end at 427.1 and DSV (CSE:DSV) was up 2.08% or 19.0 points to 930.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 7.02% or 7.70 points to trade at 101.95 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 3.76% or 14.4 points to end at 368.9 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 2.20% or 51.0 points to 2268.0.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 52 and 21 ended unchanged.

Shares in DSV (CSE:DSV) rose to all time highs; rising 2.08% or 19.0 to 930.6.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.73% or 0.72 to $42.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.64% or 0.73 to hit $45.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 11.55 to trade at $1957.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.48% to 6.3124, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4470.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 93.323.
