Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.42%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.42%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 2.20% or 2.30 points to trade at 106.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 1.45% or 2.7 points to end at 189.3 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 1.15% or 8.2 points to 719.4 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM), which fell 2.98% or 22.5 points to trade at 731.5 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 2.24% or 4.9 points to end at 214.2 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 2.14% or 14 points to 623.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 58 and 26 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.30% or 0.95 to $42.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.71% or 0.76 to hit $45.16 a barrel, while the October Gold Futures contract rose 0.63% or 12.70 to trade at $2030.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.26% to 6.3354, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4454.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 93.502.
