Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.05%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.05%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 3.14% or 12.0 points to trade at 394.6 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 2.80% or 236 points to end at 8666 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 2.53% or 2.55 points to 103.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 1.67% or 18.0 points to trade at 1061.5 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) declined 1.16% or 2.2 points to end at 186.8 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was down 0.68% or 5.0 points to 732.0.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 50 and 12 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.25% or 0.94 to $42.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.45% or 1.09 to hit $45.52 a barrel, while the October Gold Futures contract rose 1.43% or 28.75 to trade at $2037.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.62% to 6.2726, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4503.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.69% at 92.737.
