Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.53%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.53%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 1.21% or 9.8 points to trade at 817.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 0.36% or 2.6 points to end at 723.2 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was up 0.26% or 0.6 points to 229.9 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 4.04% or 4.10 points to trade at 97.30 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 3.41% or 14.2 points to end at 402.2 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 2.68% or 2.8 points to 101.5.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 104 to 25 and 12 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.54% or 1.05 to $40.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.84% or 0.81 to hit $43.28 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.69% or 13.45 to trade at $1939.95 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.04% to 6.3080, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4431.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 93.227.
