Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.09%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.09%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 1.17% or 4.5 points to trade at 389.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 1.04% or 9.40 points to end at 910.80 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 0.71% or 3.0 points to 430.1 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 1.76% or 3.9 points to trade at 217.5 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 1.48% or 5.8 points to end at 385.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 1.37% or 11.6 points to 832.4.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 48 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.27% or 0.53 to $41.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.62% or 0.27 to hit $43.63 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.63% or 12.20 to trade at $1943.20 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.3444, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4429.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 93.618.
