Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.50%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.50%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM), which rose 2.36% or 17.0 points to trade at 737.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 2.22% or 23.5 points to end at 1081.5 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was up 1.94% or 12 points to 640 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 1.89% or 2.0 points to trade at 104.0 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 1.00% or 84 points to end at 8306 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 0.89% or 1.7 points to 190.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 60 and 10 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.31% or 0.13 to $41.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.69% or 0.30 to hit $43.48 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.88% or 35.65 to trade at $1933.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.81% to 6.3323, while EUR/DKK rose 0.09% to 7.4431.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.83% at 93.595.
