Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 1.33%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 1.33%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Paz Oil (TASE:PZOL), which rose 4.33% or 1190 points to trade at 28690 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp) added 4.32% or 11 points to end at 275 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was up 3.71% or 52 points to 1452 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 9.41% or 1370 points to trade at 13190 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 4.85% or 362 points to end at 7109 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was down 4.55% or 97 points to 2037.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 213 to 167 and 34 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.15% or 0.06 to $40.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.12% or 0.05 to hit $42.77 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.55 to trade at $1813.55 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.13% to 3.4413, while EUR/ILS rose 0.34% to 3.9222.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 96.200.
