Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.95%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.95% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 4.28% or 4.1 points to trade at 99.8 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) added 2.53% or 2.51 points to end at 101.85 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 2.24% or 16.6 points to 759.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN), which fell 0.58% or 1.4 points to trade at 240.6 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 0.52% or 5.5 points to end at 1048.0 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 0.05% or 0.1 points to 196.2.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 97 to 37 and 14 ended unchanged.

Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.24% or 16.6 to 759.0.

Crude oil for August delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $40.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $43.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 10.75 to trade at $1812.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.67% to 6.5468, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4444.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 96.248.
