Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.14%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.14% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 6.38% or 55.6 points to trade at 926.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) added 3.80% or 22 points to end at 601 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 2.67% or 5.1 points to 196.1 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN), which fell 1.63% or 4.0 points to trade at 242.0 at the close. Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) declined 1.29% or 9.5 points to end at 726.5 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 1.03% or 3.9 points to 375.5.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 64 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.21% or 0.48 to $40.10 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.23% or 0.52 to hit $42.87 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.85 to trade at $1801.95 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 6.5889, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4462.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 96.608.
