At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 6.96% or 14.5 points to trade at 222.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 3.49% or 23.6 points to end at 699.0 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 2.94% or 10.6 points to 370.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 1.71% or 38.0 points to trade at 2182.0 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) declined 1.67% or 3.2 points to end at 188.8 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 0.43% or 3.8 points to 872.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 44 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.45% or 0.57 to $39.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.89% or 0.78 to hit $42.05 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.35% or 24.30 to trade at $1776.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.6188, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4521.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 97.062.
