Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.79%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.79%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which rose 17.44% or 316 points to trade at 2128 at the close. Meanwhile, Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) added 6.12% or 68 points to end at 1180 and Shufersal (TASE:SAE) was up 3.49% or 75 points to 2226 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp), which fell 5.83% or 16 points to trade at 250 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 3.24% or 470 points to end at 14030 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was down 2.79% or 9.2 points to 320.8.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 204 to 182 and 27 ended unchanged.

Shares in Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp) fell to 5-year lows; down 5.83% or 16 to 250.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.91% or 1.12 to $39.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.13% or 0.87 to hit $41.80 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 1.05 to trade at $1781.35 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.66% to 3.4532, while EUR/ILS rose 0.73% to 3.8785.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 97.517.
