Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.23%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.23%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 2.60% or 2.3 points to trade at 89.3 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (CSE:DSV) added 2.27% or 18.0 points to end at 809.8 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 1.88% or 14.20 points to 770.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 2.96% or 3.30 points to trade at 108.20 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 1.64% or 17.0 points to end at 1018.0 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 1.58% or 2.8 points to 174.9.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 61 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.96% or 1.14 to $39.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.30% or 0.94 to hit $41.87 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.75 to trade at $1781.05 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 6.6312, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4528.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 97.483.
