Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.26%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.26%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN), which rose 2.23% or 5.6 points to trade at 256.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 1.67% or 3.1 points to end at 188.5 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 1.62% or 3.5 points to 219.8 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 3.81% or 14.1 points to trade at 356.1 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 3.63% or 4.25 points to end at 112.90 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 3.26% or 6.0 points to 178.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 49 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.58% or 0.60 to $38.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.59% or 0.64 to hit $40.95 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 3.05 to trade at $1772.05 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.25% to 6.6404, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4555.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 97.330.
