Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.35%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.35%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 6.91% or 840 points to trade at 13000 at the close. Meanwhile, Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TASE:ORL) added 5.47% or 3.8 points to end at 73.3 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was up 4.85% or 2350 points to 50800 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:GZT), which fell 3.95% or 70 points to trade at 1702 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) declined 3.60% or 365 points to end at 9765 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was down 3.51% or 55 points to 1513.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 219 to 174 and 26 ended unchanged.

Shares in Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:GZT) fell to 5-year lows; down 3.95% or 70 to 1702.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.28% or 0.51 to $40.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.30% or 0.55 to hit $42.74 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 13.05 to trade at $1766.05 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.25% to 3.4407, while EUR/ILS rose 0.46% to 3.8729.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.56% at 97.028.
