Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.45%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.45% to hit a new 3-months high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 3.94% or 8.7 points to trade at 229.6 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 3.37% or 6.2 points to end at 191.9 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 3.26% or 11.7 points to 370.2 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 5.11% or 6.40 points to trade at 118.80 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 1.77% or 144 points to end at 8008 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 0.91% or 8.2 points to 890.4.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 63 to 63 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.10% or 0.04 to $38.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.10% or 0.04 to hit $41.47 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.31% or 22.60 to trade at $1753.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.6615, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4566.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 97.550.
