Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.91%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.91%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CSE:DSV), which rose 1.30% or 10.0 points to trade at 778.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) added 1.08% or 6 points to end at 562 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 1.07% or 8.00 points to 753.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 2.75% or 5.2 points to trade at 185.7 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) declined 2.59% or 6.7 points to end at 251.8 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 2.47% or 16.8 points to 663.8.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 48 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.13% or 0.81 to $38.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.79% or 0.73 to hit $41.44 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 5.00 to trade at $1730.60 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.35% to 6.6517, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4555.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 97.388.
