Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 4.40%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 4.40%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Strauss Group (TASE:STRS), which fell 0.10% or 10 points to trade at 10190 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) fell 0.83% or 2.3 points to end at 274.1 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) was down 0.99% or 180 points to 17940 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 16.51% or 1880 points to trade at 9510 at the close. Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL) declined 16.15% or 3140 points to end at 16300 and Isramco Negev 2 LP (TASE:ISRAp) was down 9.21% or 4.1 points to 40.4.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 345 to 50 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 6.96% or 1.76 to $27.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 6.03% or 1.76 to hit $30.95 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.37% or 23.45 to trade at $1739.85 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.38% to 3.5450, while EUR/ILS rose 0.12% to 3.8243.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 100.450.
