Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.89%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.89%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 2.10% or 5.5 points to trade at 268.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 0.77% or 3.4 points to end at 439.1 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 0.06% or 4 points to 6208 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 4.78% or 16.0 points to trade at 318.6 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 4.40% or 9.2 points to end at 199.8 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 3.80% or 23.4 points to 592.8.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 103 to 33 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 4.43% or 1.12 to $26.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 4.35% or 1.27 to hit $30.46 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.52% or 26.15 to trade at $1742.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 6.9148, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4577.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 100.510.
