Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.51%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.51%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 12.68% or 97 points to trade at 862 at the close. Meanwhile, International Flavors & Fragrances Inc (TASE:IFF) added 5.74% or 2660 points to end at 49010 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 5.62% or 14.5 points to 272.7 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 6.11% or 840 points to trade at 12900 at the close. Paz Oil (TASE:PZOL) declined 5.00% or 1740 points to end at 33060 and Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp) was down 4.51% or 17 points to 367.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 218 to 181 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 6.92% or 1.67 to $25.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.42% or 0.42 to hit $30.05 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.56% or 9.50 to trade at $1707.50 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.07% to 3.5105, while EUR/ILS rose 0.47% to 3.8087.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 99.987.
