Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.01%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.01% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 4.18% or 79.0 points to trade at 1969.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 2.27% or 13.8 points to end at 621.8 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 1.82% or 118 points to 6586 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 3.67% or 12.9 points to trade at 338.8 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) declined 2.07% or 3.8 points to end at 179.9 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was down 2.06% or 14.0 points to 664.5.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 65 and 13 ended unchanged.

Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.18% or 79.0 to 1969.0.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 6.59% or 1.59 to $25.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.72% or 0.51 to hit $30.14 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 10.20 to trade at $1708.20 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.45% to 6.8692, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4558.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 99.942.
