Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.48%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.48% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 3.85% or 70.0 points to trade at 1890.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 3.55% or 7.2 points to end at 209.8 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 3.20% or 10.9 points to 351.7 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 4.73% or 4.79 points to trade at 96.56 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 1.81% or 1.4 points to end at 75.9 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 0.76% or 8.0 points to 1044.0.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 45 and 12 ended unchanged.

Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.85% or 70.0 to 1890.0.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.46% or 0.36 to $24.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 3.33% or 1.03 to hit $29.94 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.06% or 18.20 to trade at $1695.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.9003, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4578.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 100.280.
