Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.99%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.99%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 0.40% or 1.2 points to trade at 298.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 0.12% or 0.5 points to end at 431.9 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 0.14% or 0.3 points to 209.7 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 7.21% or 476 points to trade at 6124 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 5.77% or 5.79 points to end at 94.56 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 5.36% or 12.8 points to 226.2.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 117 to 24 and 11 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.48% or 0.49 to $20.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.66% or 0.44 to hit $26.88 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 11.65 to trade at $1712.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.80% to 6.8487, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4624.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 99.627.
