Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.97%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.97%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which rose 2.61% or 8.7 points to trade at 342.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 2.08% or 34.0 points to end at 1671.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 1.70% or 10.0 points to 596.8 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were DSV (CSE:DSV), which fell 4.87% or 34.2 points to trade at 668.4 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 4.63% or 14.4 points to end at 296.9 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 4.08% or 3.3 points to 77.5.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 43 and 12 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 3.24% or 0.61 to $19.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.64% or 0.17 to hit $26.31 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 7.60 to trade at $1701.80 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.35% to 6.7882, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4596.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 99.010.
