Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.09%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.09%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which rose 4.77% or 24 points to trade at 527 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) added 2.27% or 7.4 points to end at 333.6 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 2.07% or 17.4 points to 858.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 3.79% or 3.2 points to trade at 80.8 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 3.15% or 3.30 points to end at 101.60 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 2.50% or 6.2 points to 241.9.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 55 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 18.13% or 2.73 to $17.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 6.07% or 1.47 to hit $25.70 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.98% or 16.80 to trade at $1696.60 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.46% to 6.8254, while EUR/DKK rose 0.08% to 7.4615.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.47% at 99.180.
