Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 3.17%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 3.17%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 11.26% or 53.9 points to trade at 532.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 9.60% or 18.9 points to end at 216.3 and DSV (CSE:DSV) was up 9.18% or 43.6 points to 518.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which fell 3.05% or 9.0 points to trade at 286.0 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 0.60% or 4.2 points to end at 692.8 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was up 0.83% or 3 points to 389.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 105 to 32 and 10 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.13% or 0.03 to $23.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.74% or 0.20 to hit $27.23 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 5.82% or 91.25 to trade at $1658.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.50% to 6.9284, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4649.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.08% at 102.125.
