At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 1.10% to hit a new 3-years low.
The best performers of the session on the were Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:), which rose 6.00% or 7.80 points to trade at 137.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:) added 3.85% or 0.33 points to end at 8.90 and Baazeem Trading Co (SE:) was up 3.42% or 1.10 points to 33.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were City Cement Co (SE:), which fell 10.00% or 1.28 points to trade at 11.52 at the close. Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:) declined 9.98% or 0.90 points to end at 8.12 and Arabian Centres Co (SE:) was down 9.95% or 2.06 points to 18.64.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 149 to 41 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arabian Centres Co (SE:) fell to all time lows; falling 9.95% or 2.06 to 18.64.
Crude oil for May delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $32.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 4.52% or 1.50 to hit $34.72 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 3.85% or 61.20 to trade at $1529.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.68% to 4.1686, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7535.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 98.904.
