President Donald Trump will visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta on Friday, reversing an earlier decision to scrap the trip.
Signing an $8 billion spending bill to fight the coronavirus, Trump told reporters that an individual at the institution had tested negative for COVID-19, which was first identified in December in Wuhan, China. “They’ve tested the person very fully and it was a negative test,” he said.
