Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the declined 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the were Ambu A/S (CSE:), which rose 7.03% or 10.5 points to trade at 159.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Simcorp A/S (CSE:) added 2.78% or 19.5 points to end at 720.5 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:) was up 1.69% or 2.0 points to 123.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CSE:), which fell 3.83% or 10.8 points to trade at 271.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) declined 2.39% or 17.2 points to end at 701.2 and Genmab (CSE:) was down 1.33% or 22.0 points to 1638.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 53 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.70% or 1.35 to $51.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 3.63% or 1.96 to hit $55.97 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.25 to trade at $1571.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.35% to 6.8688, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4725.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 98.823.
