At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 1.12%.
The best performers of the session on the were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which rose 4.43% or 148 points to trade at 3489 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Corp (TASE:) added 4.22% or 2420 points to end at 59830 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.52% or 50 points to 1470 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Isramco Negev 2 LP (TASE:), which fell 1.79% or 0.8 points to trade at 43.9 at the close. Perrigo (TASE:) declined 1.30% or 270 points to end at 20490 and Delek Drilling LP (TASE:) was down 1.23% or 8 points to 641.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 264 to 123 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Delek Drilling LP (TASE:) fell to 5-year lows; losing 1.23% or 8 to 641.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.33% or 0.66 to $50.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.99% or 1.06 to hit $54.33 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 9.95 to trade at $1569.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.00% to 3.4192, while EUR/ILS rose 0.11% to 3.7346.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 98.612.
