At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 0.71%.
The best performers of the session on the were Paz Oil (TASE:), which rose 6.66% or 2680 points to trade at 42940 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) added 4.95% or 128 points to end at 2715 and Delek Group (TASE:) was up 4.39% or 1890 points to 44990 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which fell 3.92% or 133 points to trade at 3260 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:) declined 3.13% or 480 points to end at 14860 and Perrigo (TASE:) was down 1.23% or 250 points to 20110.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 228 to 182 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) rose to all time highs; up 4.95% or 128 to 2715.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.45% or 0.23 to $50.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.49% or 0.27 to hit $55.01 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 5.55 to trade at $1568.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.26% to 3.4306, while EUR/ILS fell 0.42% to 3.7666.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 98.355.
